A funeral service for Kevin D. Miller, 25 of Heath will be held Thursday June 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Kevin died Sunday June 15, 2008 as the result of an auto accident. He was born January 8, 1983 in Newark to Gerald D. and Diana L. (Byers) of Heath. In addition to his parents he is survived by sisters, Athena (Scott) Thompson of Newark, Amanda Miller of Heath; brother, Nicholas Miller of Newark; paternal grandmother, Patricia Miller of Heath; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Darla (Jan) Pickett of Pomeroy; maternal great-grandmother, Estel Henthorn of Woodsfield; nephew, Hunter Thompson; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kevin was a member of the West End Church of Christ and an active member of the NA. He was employed by Goodwill Industries and Ponderosa Steakhouse. His special friend Gabrielle ?Gabby? Mayabb also died in the accident. Calling hours will be observed Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.A memorial fund has been set up to assist the family of Kevin Miller.
