Kenneth M. ?Kenny? Wolford, 65, of Dresden, died at 8:07PM Saturday July 19, 2003 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Wolford was born October 7, 1937 in Dresden, a son of the late John and Katherine (Swope) Wolford. He had retired in 1999 after 32 years at Clow Water Systems most of which he worked as a truck driver. He was a member of St. Ann?s Catholic Church and the NRA. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Anna C. (Wright) Wolford, whom he married June 8, 1957; a son John (Lori) Wolford of Trinway, a daughter, Betty J. (Doug) Maurer of Dresden, a brother, Donny Wolford of New Philadelphia, grandchildren, Jeremy, Tony and Kenny Wolford, Katie and Abby Maurer, and two special cousins, Shelly Weisend and Lori Cody, whose nursing care this week made a difference. Friends may call 2-4PM & 6-8PM Tuesday July 22, 2003 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden, where services will be held at 11AM Wednesday with Fr. Jack Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor?s choice.
