Kenneth Rodney ?Rod? Hollar, 44 of Newark passed away Monday May 21, 2007 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hollar was born August 3, 1962 in Newark to the late Kenneth W. Hollar and Mary Jane (Hupp) Hollar of Newark. He was a 1980 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking; and loved NASCAR. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hollar is survived by daughters, Amber (Brian) Hartrum of Nashport, Heather Hollar of Newark; sons, Derek Hollar of Newark, Chris Litton of Ripley, WV; granddaughters, Mackenzie Hartrum, Kenzie Litton; a brother, Robert ?Bobby? (Angie) Hollar of Newark; a sister, Tammy (Steve) Carrelli of Newark; and two nieces, Katrina Hollar and Mariah Carrelli. In addition to his father, Mr. Hollar was preceded in death by his wife Brenda R. Hollar March 31, 2007. Friends may call from 12:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. Thursday May 24, 2007 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with David Branham officiating.
