Kenneth L. Knight, 82, of Zanesville, Ohio died Tuesday afternoon, January 5, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Born September 7, 1938 in Dilles Bottom, Ohio he was the son of the late Harold and Sarah (Eikleberry) Knight.  Kenneth was a 1957 graduate of Frazeysburg High School and he attended Bliss Business College in Columbus, Ohio.  He proudly served our country in the United States Army for two years.  Mr. Knight was a Grange Insurance Agent for over 50 years and retired in 2014.  For most of that time he was the owner of McKee Insurance Agency in Zanesville.

Kenneth was a member of Central Presbyterian Church of Zanesville and was a member of Lafayette Lodge #79, F. & A. M. of Zanesville.  He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Cambridge, the Amrou Grotto of Zanesville, the Aladdin Shrine Temple and Zanesville Sertoma.  Kenneth loved being with his children and grandchildren and seldom missed any event in which they were involved.  His greatest enjoyments and happiest times were the many family trips to Disney World, camping in Tennessee and having picnics in Cades Cove.

Surviving is his loving wife of 63 years, Lois N. (Dillon) Knight whom he married January 4, 1958; two daughters and sons in-law, Katrina and Michael Sarka of Lebanon, Ohio and Sarita and Mark Fenn of Canal Winchester, Ohio; four grandchildren, Dillon Sarka and his friend, Allison Hill, Ryan Sarka and his friend, Madison Kern, Taylor Grace Fenn and Zane Kenneth Fenn; two brothers, William Knight of Coshocton, Ohio and John Raymond Knight of Pickerington, Ohio; two sisters, Wanda Green of Dublin, Ohio and Virginia Stockem of Newark, Ohio; his brother in-law and sister in-law, Warren and Jean Dillon of Cincinnati, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.  Calling hours will also be for one hour prior to the funeral service.  Lafayette Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 8pm Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Tara Mitchell officiating.  Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.

Due to Covid restrictions, self-provided masks are required to be worn and social distancing observed.
