FRAZEYSBURG ? Kenneth N. Fairall, Sr., 73, of 3185 Olde Falls Road, Zanesville, Ohio, died at 4:00pm Saturday, March 1, 2003 at Genesis Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville. Born March 24, 1929 in Nashport, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herbert L. and Genevieve (Noland) Fairall and was a 1947 graduate of Nashport High School. Mr. Fairall retired in 1986 as a foreman after 34 years of service with Armco Steel Corporation of Zanesville and was a member of the Armco Veterans Club. After his retirement he was a school bus driver with West Muskingum Schools and in 1986 he assisted his son in the founding of Carpet Care Plus of Nashport. Kenneth was an exceptionally kind and humorous man to anyone he met. He loved fishing and gardening and grew beautiful flower gardens each year. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, sisters and many friends. Surviving are two sons, Frank ?Butch? Ferry and Kenneth Fairall, Jr., both of Zanesville; three daughters, Melanie (James) Mitchell of Columbus, Ohio, Sharon Snyder of North Palm Beach, Florida, and Denise (Mark) Price of Springboro, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ashlee Fairall and Brandon Lanning; three sisters, Irene Coverdale of Columbus, Gleneva Commeans of Frazeysburg, Ohio and Ruth (Roy) Flowers of Kirkersville, Ohio; a close friend, Florence Marshall of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie (Corbett) Fairall, whom he married October 7, 1950 and who died February 22, 1999; a brother Eugene Fairall; a sister, Inez May Fairall; and a grandson, Jasa Snyder. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at the funeral home with Rev. Tom England officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
