Keith C. Shumaker, 53, of Dresden, died at 9:40PM Monday February 4, 2008 at the James Cancer Center following a brief illness. He was born March 12, 1954 in Columbus, a son of the late Kenneth A. and Iris (King) Shumaker. Mr. Shumaker was a 1972 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a veteran of the US Navy. He had worked in construction and was a truck driver for Bob Taylor trucking of Adamsville. He was also a member of the Trinway United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife, Marsha K. (Crawford) Shumaker, whom he married September 30, 1978; a daughter, Mindy (Ryan) Harris of Newark; son, Kyle of the home; two grandchildren, Kerstin and Evan Harris; brother, Kevin (Nancy) Shumaker of Dresden and sister Karla Ethel of Dresden. Friends may call 5-8PM Thursday February 7, 2008 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1PM Friday. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
