Kathryn E. Ridgley, 73, of Adamsville, died at 10:50pm Thursday January 31, 2008 at Bethesda Hospital. Mrs. Ridgley was born December 3, 1934 in Morgan County, a daughter of the late Hamer and Abbie (Blackburn) Hooper. She was a member of Farm Bureau Council 5A and had been a radio operator for many years for the Adamsville Community Fire Department and Squad and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Ridgley was a member of the Lake Street Church of Christ in Roseville. Surviving are her sons, Harold (Amy) Ridgley of Adamsville, Earl (Amy) Ridgley of Frazeysburg; one grandson, Gage Arthur Ridgley and a sister, Nonie Lyon of Coshocton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Ridgley on November 28, 2007; brothers, Douglas, Dwight, Denzil Hooper; and a sister, Eleanor Davis. Friends may call 2-4pm & 7-9pm Sunday February 3, 2008 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street, Dresden, where services will be held at 11am Monday with Delbert Westbrook officiating.
