FRAZEYSBURG ? Kathleen E. Watson, 88, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died at 5:30am Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Wexner Heritage Village in Bexley, Ohio. Born September 26, 1915 in Thornville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Oscar A. and Ethel O. (Helser) Anspach and was a graduate of Thornville High School. She, and her late husband, Robert, owned and operated Watson?s Foodtown Grocery of Frazeysburg. After her retirement from the grocery business she worked in the cafeteria at Frazeysburg Elementary School for several years. Mrs. Watson was Lutheran by faith. Surviving are five grandchildren, Kim (Jim) Hamilton of Sunbury, Ohio, Lisa (Steve) Murray of Hanover, Ohio, Kristi Bates of Logan, Ohio, Brad (Vickie) Sharp of Dublin, Ohio and Mark (Kathy) Watson of Zanesville, Ohio; ten great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Watson, whom she married February 25, 1934 and who died March 18, 1995; one daughter, Shirley A. Sharp; one son, Thomas J. Watson and a brother Lewis Anspach. Calling hours will from 1:30pm until service time, which will be 3:30pm Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Vensil-Orr and Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg, Ohio. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
