FRAZEYSBURG ? Katherine DeYoung, 99, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday morning, August 21, 2007 at her home. Born December 24, 1907 in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Matilda (Wimmer) Eichner and was a homemaker. Mrs. DeYoung loved to crochet and she studied her bible daily. Surviving is one daughter, Virginia Roosa of Frazeysburg; five grandchildren, Kathleen Morgan, Barbara Provenzano, Robert Roosa, Clinton Roosa and Deborah Ippolito; fifteen great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John DeYoung, whom she married January 21, 1929 and who died October 25, 1964; a son John DeYoung; and two grandsons, John DeYoung, Jr. and Richard Roosa. There will be no calling hours or funeral service. At the request of Mrs. DeYoung, her body will be cremated and her remains will be buried with her late husband in Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, New Jersey.
