FRAZEYSBURG ? Karen S. Williams Nethers, 58, of Nashport, Ohio died at 11:50am Sunday, April 2, 2006 at her home. Born April 4, 1947 in Adamsville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late James Paul Mox and Wilma L. Tanner Mox Stokes of Frazeysburg, Ohio and was a 1965 graduate of Frazeysburg High School and the Ohio School of Cosmetology. Mrs. Nethers was a hairdresser for many years at The Beauty Nook hair salon in Zanesville. She was a member of the Newark Church of the Nazarene and had formerly been a member of the Second Street Church of Christ of Frazeysburg, the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church and the Perryton Church of Christ. She had been actively involved in youth leadership at the churches. Surviving is addition to her mother, is her husband Douglas W. Nethers, whom she married October 15, 1983; two sons, Clay A. Williams of Ft. St. Jo, Florida and Casey (Autumn) Williams of Hanover; three daughters, Charity S. (Dirk) McFarland of Marne, Amber (Jon) Ove of Wisconsin and Trisha (Andrew) Breighton of Lancaster, PA; three brothers, Al (Gale) Mox of Dresden, Allen (Robin) Mox of Newark and Jeff (Tammy) Mox of New Lexington, Ohio; two sisters, Sandy (Bill) Goslin of Thornville and Debbie (Wes) Denman of Nashport; eight grandchildren; and several niece and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert A. Williams, who died December 21, 1978. Calling hours will be 6 to 9pm Tuesday, April 4, 2006 and 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the Newark Church of the Nazarene, 200 South Williams Street, Newark, Ohio with Minister Ben McKinstry and Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Newark Church of the Nazarene.
