Obituary
Junior W. Roberts, 88, of 1317 Main Street, Dresden died at 8PM Tuesday March 2, 2010 at Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.
Mr. Roberts was born October 6, 1921 in Conesville, a son of the late Fred and Margaret (Williams) Roberts. He had proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army and worked at the James B. Clow Corp. in Coshocton for 43 years. Mr. Roberts was a member of the American Legion Post 0065 in Coshocton, VFW, Eagles and Moose Lodge, all in Coshocton. He was a 50 year member of and past master of Dresden Lodge #103 F.&A.M., member of the Grand Council Royal & Select Masons, Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons and the O.E.S. He loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycles and being a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Lacy) Roberts, whom he married January 8, 1944; a son Randy D. (Brooke) Roberts; a grandson, Kevin D. Roberts, all of Dresden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.
Friends may call 6-8PM Thursday March 4, 2010 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Masonic Services will be held at 8PM Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held in the Dresden Cemetery on Friday at 2PM with Randy Mullins officiating.
