Josephine J. ?Jo? Sarchet, 63, of Dresden, died unexpectedly at 10:53AM Sunday December 28th, 2008 in the Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. Mrs. Sarchet was born December 18th, 1945, in Dresden, a daughter of the late Benjamin T. and Josephine M. (Hahn) Untied. She earned an Associates Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering from MATC and had worked at The Longaberger Co. for 23 years and had a deep love for animals. Surviving are her husband of 39 years, James P. Sarchet, whom she married July 11th, 1969; four children, Mike (Marilyn Boyd) Larr, Julie Hopkins, Darlene (Dempsey) Crozier, Brian (Ann Cooper) Larr, all of Dresden; she was grandmother of 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and loved their faithful dog, Joey. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents are her brother, Benjamin R. Untied and her sister, Mary Untied. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Wednesday December 31st, 2008 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Cremation will follow at Mrs. Sarchet?s request.
