Josephine Marie Kanaris was born at 12:10am, May 24, 2026, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. Though her time with us was as brief as a soft whisper in the breeze, her arrival brought a tender flicker of light and love into the hearts around her. Darling Josephine fluttered gently away on that very same day, leaving behind a quiet stillness wrapped in endless tenderness.
Baby Josephine was a precious twin, holding hands in the peaceful dawn with her sister, Donna Joanne Kanaris, who also slipped quietly from this world that day. The two sweet souls, forever connected from their very first breath, will be remembered together in the softest corners of loved ones’ hearts.
Josephine’s parents, Mike and Cheyenne (Rott) Kanaris Jr., hold her gently in their hearts, alongside her 3-year-old big brother, Henry Kanaris, who already shared dreams of sisterly sweetness, extended family includes many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; her maternal grandparents, Jay and Carol Rott, her paternal grandmother, Diane Donahue, and her maternal great-grandmother, Donna Graham, all keep her tender spirit nestled closely, like a cherished lullaby sung softly through the years.
Though she only graced this world for a moment, little Josephine Marie Kanaris’s presence is a soothing melody, a gentle heartbeat carried forever by those who loved her first and will treasure her always.
