Joseph William Rowe, 74, of Dresden, died Monday afternoon June 29, 2009 at his home following several months of illness. Mr. Rowe was born August 23, 1934, in Kentucky, a son of the late Arthur Rowe and Anna M. (Woods) Rowe-Regan. Mr. Rowe was retired from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in Akron. He is survived by his wife, Irene G. (Lowe) Rowe; three children, William Rowe of Akron, Joseph (Barbara) Rowe of Uniontown, John (Tammy) Rowe of Carrolton; his grandchildren, Floyd Rowe, Louis (Tamara) Rowe, Amy (Keith) Blaylock, Lacey Rowe, Logan Rowe, Luke Rowe and two great grandchildren, Ella and Mason Blaylock. Friends may call 6-8PM Thursday July 2nd, 2009 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home; where services will be held Friday July 3rd, 2009 at 11AM with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating.
