Joseph F. "Joe" Randall, 68, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Thursday afternoon, December 23, 2021, at Genesis Hospital Emergency Department in Zanesville.

Born July 7, 1953 in Zanesville he was a son of the late George F. and Helene A. (Kover) Randall and was a 1971 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.  Joe was a retired heavy equipment operator working from the International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union 18 of Columbus, Ohio and he was a member of Perryton United Methodist Church.

Joe was a very avid sports fan and he loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.  But if you even knew Joe a little, you knew that he was one of Tri-Valley High School's biggest and greatest fans.  Joe was a member of the Tri-Valley 12 ^th Man Club, the Tri-Valley Boosters Club and, for many years, was a member of the Tri-Valley Football "Chain Gang".  No matter what, home or away, no matter the sport, you could almost always find Joe in the crowd, many times wearing his 1971 Varsity jacket, cheering on the team.  Joe was a very generous person, always giving a helping hand to anyone in need.  He also had a love for animals, especially for his pet cat, "Mr. Funk".

Surviving are four sons, Matthew Randall of Columbus, Ohio, Stephen Randall of Los Angeles, California, Joel Randall of Frazeysburg and Adam and his wife Mercedes Randall of Newark, Ohio and one grandson, Liam Joseph Randall.  Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Jill Randall of Lancaster, Ohio and Jacquline Hittle of Frazeysburg, and Jeffery Randall and his wife Beth alongside several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, December 31, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor John Kay officiating.
