John M. Lewis, 51, of Zanesville, Ohio died Tuesday evening, December 10, 2013 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.
Born March 23, 1962 in Newark, Ohio he was a son of the late John W. and Thelma C. (Lambert) Lewis. He was a 1981 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and former employee of the Clow Corporation of Coshocton. John was a very avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking.
Surviving is one daughter, Jamie Lewis of Adamsville, Ohio; his significant other, Julie McClure of Zanesville; a brother Mark A. Lewis of Nashport, Ohio; four nephews, James Fleming, Walter Fleming, Derick Lewis and Cody Lewis; a niece, Meghan Lewis and his two little "buddies", Zaiden and Zane Emerson.
Calling hours will be from Noon to 1pm Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Memorial services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Victoria Kumorowski officiating.
