John A. Lacy, Jr., 60, of Dresden, died at 3:45AM Friday December 2, 2005 at Morrison House Hospice following a lengthy illness. Mr. Lacy was born February 5, 1945 in Zanesville, a son of the late John A. and Virginia B. (Frazier) Lacy, Sr. A 1963 graduate of Jefferson High School, Mr. Lacy had served as a sergeant in the US Army and was stationed in Korea. He had worked 20 years at Stone Container in Coshocton and then at Owens Corning Fiberglas in Newark and was a member of the Charles Mitchell Post #399 American Legion, the VFW in Dresden and Frazeysburg Lodge #490 F&AM. Surviving is his wife, Margaret M. ?Peg? (Wagner) Lacy, whom he married January 13, 1968; a daughter, Michelle M. (Darin) Lawler of Dresden, a son, Scott A. (Vickie) Lacy of Newark; brother, Myron (Nancy) Lacy of Dresden, grandchildren, Christopher and Joshua Lawler of Dresden, Brandie (Frank) Salierno of Florida, Shawn (Kara) Firman and Ashlie Firman both of Newark and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Friends may call from 1-3PM Sunday December 4, 2005 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home where a funeral service will follow at 3PM. Burial will be in the Dresden Cemetery
