John W. Kennedy, Sr., 65 of Newark, formerly of Wapakoneta passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008. John was born February 6, 1943 in Columbus to the late John W. and Pauline (Anderson) Kennedy. He was a member of AMVETS, VFW, Eagles, and Moose Lodge. He loved the Cleveland Browns and Indians; and in his retirement enjoyed being a ?fix all?. Survivors include his devoted companion, Patty Brown of Newark; a son, John W. Kennedy, Jr. of Columbus; daughters, Colleen Kennedy of Newark, Lisa Murphy of Grove City; brothers Daniel (Melanie) Kennedy of Chillocothe, Patrick (Debbie) Kennedy of Columbus, Raymond Kennedy of Manchester, TN; sisters, Kathyrn Kinnaman of Wapakoneta, Peggy (Robert) Parker of Newark; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2008, NEWARK CHAPEL of VENSIL-ORR & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
