Obituary

FRAZEYSBURG ? Joetta L. Boothe, 72, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 1:30am Sunday, March 18, 2007 at her home. Born December 23, 1934 in Belburn, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Coke and Effie Mae (Griffen) Boone. Mrs. Boothe retired in 1987 as a supervisor with A. T. & T. and she was a member of the Dresden First Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband, Rupert E. Boothe, whom she married December 24, 1951; one son, Rodney (Deborah) Boothe of Canal Winchester, Ohio; two daughters, Shannon (Samuel) Shannon of Johnstown, Ohio and Darlene (Randy) Baker of Durham, North Carolina; two brothers, James (Virginia) Boone of Laurinburg, North Carolina and Frank (Andee) Boone of Oklahoma; two sisters, Goldie Zickafoose of Maryland and Anna Mae McClain of Massillon, Ohio; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many close friends. In addition to her parents, two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Dresden First Baptist Church, Chestnut Street, Dresden, Ohio with Pastor Andrew Dennis officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, Ohio 43055.
