A Memorial Service for Joanne Madge Borror, 78 of Newark will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2008 at Newark Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Don Moshgat officiating. Mrs. Borror died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 14, 1930 in Marietta to the late Kenneth and Edna (Wilcox) Borror. Mrs. Borror was a 1948 graduate of Granville High School. She attended the Chicago Art Institute, Central Ohio Technical College and The Ohio State University. She served her country for four years in the United States Air Force. Following her military service, she enjoyed a career as a draftsman at various central Ohio employers. Mrs. Borror loved art and was known for her beautiful artwork. Survivors include her son, Matthew Marks and his fianc? Brenda of Tucson, Arizona; a sister, Jeannine (James) Murphy of Hebron; her former husband, and the father of her son, Angelo Marks of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother in-law, Marlene and Henry Dykes.
