A celebration of the life of Joann Adams, 56 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Newark Heights Church of God, 1092 W. Church Street, Newark with Donny McNerney officiating.

Joann died February 2, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born March 22, 1965 in Newark to the late Charles and Doris (Harbaugh) Sheets. She had worked as a Nurses Aid at Brookdale Assisted Living.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Adams, who she married August 1, 1986; a son, Roger Lee Adams; a granddaughter, Payton Adams; and several brothers and sisters.

The Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangments.
