Jo Ann Starcher, 65, of New Concord, died Friday evening, June 3, 2011 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been admitted earlier in the day.

Mrs. Starcher was born November 20, 1945 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert D. and Mildred (Collins) St. Clair.

Surviving are her husband, Glen E. Starcher, whom she married April 18, 1964; her children, Glen (Teresa) Starcher of Marietta, Thomas (Susan) Starcher of New Concord, Patricia Starcher of Zanesville, James (Steph) O'Connell of Sarahsville, Richard (Jodi) Starcher of New Concord, Pamela Starcher of Cambridge, Robert (Jen) Starcher of New Concord; her beloved grandchildren, Tiffany, Tricia, Glen III, Wesley, Hope, Hayley, Holly, Tammy, Angel Dawn, Rondha, Rodney II, Megan, Krysten, T.J., Jonathan, Paige, Rusty, Dirk, Amanda, Jake, Jeremy, Zachary; her beloved great-grandchildren, Brandon, Danielle, Hope, JES, Zyler, Bladen; her brothers and sisters, Robert (Pauline) St. Clair of New Concord, Charles (Helen) St. Clair of New Concord, Joy St Clair of Texas, William St. Clair of Zanesville, Dorothy Stephens of Zanesville and an aunt, Helen Boetcher of Zanesville.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Mumford.

Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Monday June 6, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1PM at the funeral home, burial will follow in the Baptist Cemetery, Adamsville.
