Jerry L. "Chicken" Foster, 53, of Nashport, Ohio died Wednesday evening, December 19, 2012 at his residence.
Born June 1, 1959 in Zanesville, Ohio he was a son of the late George E. and Irene V. (Jordan) Foster and was a 1977 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Mr. Foster was a former employee of Gould Battery of Zanesville and a former bartender at the Dresden Lounge. He was a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Casey E. and Mandy Foster of Nashport; two brothers, Don "Duck" (Sue) Myers of Nashport and Jack Harold (Kitty) Myers of Adamsville, Ohio; two sisters, Julie "Fred" Hipkins of Nashport and Donna Abbott of Walhonding, Ohio; two special nephews, Shane (Alyssa) Foster and Gary "Junior" Foster and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary "Big Dumb" Foster and Mike "Peach" Foster.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
