Jeri Lynn Prince Whitnell, 57, of Philo, died Thursday morning, August 10, 2023, at her home.
Born July 16, 1966, in Zanesville, Ohio she was a daughter of Paul and Daune (Gulley) Prince and a 1984 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. She earned her associate degree at Muskingum Area Technical Collage and retired from Arber Health in Morton, Washington. She previously worked for over 30 years at the American Society Radiology as a Technologist. She was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church and VFW Auxiliary Post #1058, former EMT and EMS in Randal, Washington. Jeri loved traveling and outdoors activities, from hiking to going to the beach. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Red's fan for life.
Surviving are her parents; her husband of 9 years, William Chadwick "Chad" Whitnell Sr., whom she married on September 4, 2013; two stepsons, James Whitnell II and Chad Whitnell Jr.; a brother, Rick (Kim) Prince; two nieces, Amanda Dilley and Alyssa (Ben) Dougherty; father and mother-in-law, James (Jane) Whitnell; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Jeri was preceded in death by a nephew, Andrew Prince.
Friends and family may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street, Dresden.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, August 18, 2023, at the funeral home.
Jeri will be laid to rest at the Dresden Cemetery, Dresden, Ohio.
