Jennifer Lynn King, 45, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Coshocton, Ohio died Saturday afternoon, September 10, 2011 at Harris Regional Hospital, Sylva, North Carolina.
Born December 15, 1965 in Coshocton she is the daughter of Larry R. and Judy L. (Rice) King. She was a 1984 graduate of River View High School and a former member of Conesville United Methodist Church. Jennifer had a extensive background in the travel business, initially as an employee of Clipper Cruise Line, which took her all over the world, and then as a travel agent on the East Coast and Columbus, Ohio. Most recently she worked for International Contractors Corporation.
Surviving in addition to her parents is a sister and brother in-law, Molly and Shawn Bordenkircher of Coshocton; a niece, Emily Bordenkircher; a nephew Benjamin Bordenkircher; two aunts, Elaine (Kenny) Birkhimer of Dresden and Karen Henry of Coshocton; an uncle, Carl (Donna) Rice of Sandusky, Ohio; five cousins and a special friend, Mark Watkins of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence "Buck" and Geneva King and Carl and Ida Rice.
Calling hours will be from 5pm to 8pm Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the funeral home with the Rev. Joy Blaney officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
