NEWARK: A funeral service for Jennie N. Prince, 88 of Newark will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Martin officiating.  Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset, PA.

Mrs. Prince died Friday morning, August 17, 2012 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark. She was born June 21, 1924 in Somerset, Pennsylvania to the late Mesmore and Edna (Heminger) King. A homemaker, Mrs. Prince enjoyed playing Bridge; loved playing golf and spending time with her grandchildren; and found great joy in her special Dog, Gigi.

Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Goudy of Columbus, Cynthia Romesberg of Granville; a son, Floyd Eric Romesberg of La Jolla, CA; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a brother; and a sister.

Friends and family may visit from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
