A funeral service celebrating the life of Jeffrey Lee McNaught, 52 of Heath, will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Dave Mason officiating. Burial will be at Newark Memorial Gardens.

Jeff passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 6, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.  He was born September 8, 1972, in Zanesville, OH to Charles and Sharon (Massengill) McNaught.  A 1990 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, Jeff worked as the Operations Manager for The Golf Works.  He attended Heath Church of Christ.

A loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, dedicated uncle and friend; Jeff was a family man.  He had a generous spirit and a tremendous sense of humor.  He enjoyed all things with his family from coaching baseball to being a "Dance Dad." He was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan through the wins and losses, but mostly losses. Jeff took special pride in his grandson, Mason, and his grand puppy, Otis.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his wife, Gina (Whitis) McNaught; children, Abigail Parsil (Jacob), Bryson McNaught (Mackenzie Abbati) and grandson, Mason McNaught; sisters in-law, Diana Lehman (Darryl) and Tammy Whitis (Josh Compton); aunt, Elizabeth Massengill; nieces and nephews, Michael and Marshall Lehman and Myles and Mayzie Compton.

Friends and family may attend calling hours from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Vensil & Chute Funeral Home – Newark, 1850 W. Main Street.

Per Jeff's wishes, the family requests that gentleman please do not wear a necktie or sport coat at either calling hours or the funeral.
