Jeffery R. Husk, 54, of Dresden, Ohio died Saturday evening, April 5, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 1, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio he was a son of Huey E. Husk of Dresden and the late Emma Jean (Sparks) Husk and he was a 1979 graduate of Licking Heights High School. Mr. Husk was a member of the Dresden First Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for over 30 years and was employed by Top Cat Concrete. He also worked for many years with Husk Brothers Concrete. Jeff was very active in his many hobbies which included demolition derby, drag racing, tractor pulls, restoration of antique cars and motorcycle riding. He was also an avid hunter and traveler, having visited every state.
Surviving in addition to his father is his loving wife, Luise (Wastian) Husk whom he married September 21, 1985; a son, Jeffery Edward (Jessica) Husk of Tiffin, Ohio; a daughter, Maria Luisa Jean Husk of Coshocton; six grandchildren; a brother, Steven R. (Diana) Husk of Warsaw, Ohio; a sister, Ronda (Rick) Smith of Frazeysburg, Ohio and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday at the Dresden First Baptist Church, 801 Chestnut Street with Mr. Forrest Pierce and Pastor Joseph Offenberger officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
