Funeral services for Jean Swihart Wolf, 74 of Newark will be held Tuesday October 21, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Vensil ? Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wolf, a homemaker, who loved children and provided childcare for many years, died Friday October 17, 2003 at the Flint Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was born April 17, 1929 to the late Raymond and Myrtle (Johnson) Watson. She is survived by daughter, Darlene Gorman of Newark; son, Randy (Lori) Swihart of Newark; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Hand, Heather Rine Swihart, Kyra Gorman, Keri Gorman, Elissa Swihart, Kaila Swihart; five great grandchildren, Jacy Hand, Jon Hand, Jada Hand, Nathan Swihart , Alexis Rine; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Swihart in 1977, four sisters and two brothers. Calling hours will be observed Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vensil ? Orr & Chute 1850 West Main Street Newark. Memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Alzheimer?s Unit, 1450 W. Main Street Newark. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
