A celebration of the life of Jean E. Lowry, 92 of Newark will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Heath Church of Christ with Dave Mason and Bob Williams officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville.

Jean passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. She was born December 1, 1929 in Dennison, OH to the late H.D. and Mildred (Finney) Harper. A 1947 graduate of Linden-McKinley High School, Jean was a lifetime homemaker. She was a Sunday School teacher of pre-school children for over 30 years. Jean loved her family and loved her Lord. She was a member of North Park Church of Christ and attended Heath Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Paul Lowry; daughters, Lisa (Jim) Loughridge of Milton, GA and Lynda (Jamie) Ciminello of Heath, OH; and a granddaughter, Paige Ciminello of Lancaster, OH.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by four siblings, Joan Chambless, John "Jack" Harper, Marjie Ciminello and Robert Harper.

Friends may call 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 1331 Chapel Way, Heath, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.
