Janice J. Minner, 65, of Dresden, died at 7:43AM Tuesday August 24, 2004 at Genesis Good Samaritan. Mrs. Minner was born May 24, 1939 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Leonard and Della (Albright) Towning. A member of the Prospect U. Methodist Church, she was also a member of the F.O.E. in Zanesville and the Coshocton Ladies Moose. Mrs. Minner was a long time Madison Township poll worker for the Muskingum Co. Board of Elections and loved spending time along Muskingum River near her home. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Dwight L. Minner, Sr.; sons, Dwight L. (Wynonia) Minner, Jr., of Dresden, Dana Minner of Wooster, special daughter, Connie (Leroy) Gause of Newark; grandchildren, Jessica and Travis Minner and Cory and Lori Minner; brother, Jack Towning of Zanesville and his fianc?, Sally Snyder, who also was a special friend, sisters, Roseanne Schnaublegger and Sonja Harvey both of California; an uncle, Hiram (Connie) Seene and family of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Towning and a sister Colleen Mayberry. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Thursday August 26, 2004 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 8PM with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating.
