Janet Ann Cordray, 59, of Zanesville, formerly of Dresden, died at 1:30PM Tuesday November 18, 2008 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice. She was born October 29, 1949 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Russell and Ethel (Fellgate) Cordray. Janet had attended the Starlight Workshop and participated in Starlight Bowling and the Special Olympics. She is survived by cousins, Patricia Stevens and Mary Anne (Ken) Sheffield, both of Dresden and her dear extended family at Muskingum Residentials. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Sue Cordray and a special aunt and uncle with whom she made her home after her parents passed, Verna and Fred Cordray. Friends may call from Noon until service time on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden. Services will be 1:00pm Friday at the funeral home with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
