Jane Ann Sceurman

Jane Ann Sceurman, 75, of Dresden, died Friday evening, October 2, 2026, at Genesis Hospice - Morrison House.

Born October 6, 1950, in Zanesville, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Sarah Lucille (Ailes) Wilson and a 1968 graduate of Maysville High School. Jane volunteered and worked at the school, was a retail manager for the Longaberger Company, and the fiscal officer for the Village of Dresden. Jane was a member of KISMET Club, Friends of the Park, and enjoyed volunteering her time helping in her hometown. You could find her volunteering at the Melon Festival every year. Jane was a lover of all animals, flowers and books. She and her husband, Larry, were avid travelers, making it to all 50 states and many countries.

Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Lawrence “Larry” Collins Sceurman; a son, Gregory Richard (Devan) Sceurman; a daughter, Valerie (Ron) Wilson; four grandchildren, Andrew, Bailey (Noah Morgan), Allison, and Perry; and her brother, Charles William Wilson.

Family and friends may visit 4:00-6:00pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil | Wagner | Marshall Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
