Obituary
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held for James G. Tosi, 67 of Newark Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Water's Edge Community Center, 4852 Walnut Road, Buckeye Lake with Pastor Carol Kirk officiating.
Mr. Tosi died Friday September 21, 2012 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born August 12, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Tosi of Newark and the late Laverne (Draeger) Tosi.
Mr. Tosi was a practicing attorney in the Hebron and Millersport area since 1971. He was a member and past president of the Licking County Bar Association, a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, a member and current treasurer of the Hebron Lion's Club. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University and University of Cincinnati.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon (Skelley) Tosi, whom he married June 5, 1971; children, Danielle (Robert) Lasota of League City, TX, Nathaniel (Julia) Tosi of Bay Village, OH, Marshall (Marcella) Tosi of Plain City, OH; grandchildren, Colton Lasota, Olivia Lasota, Taylor Lasota, Mia Tosi, Mariska Tosi, Merrick Tosi, expectant grandchild "Baby Slide"; sisters, Patricia Bowland of Oregon, OH, Kathleen Butler of Newark; brothers, Edwin (Bernadine) Jaquillard of Norwalk, CA, Gary (Dorothy) Tosi of Newark; several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials to Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio P.O. Box 430, Newark, OH 43058-0430 or to a favorite charity.
