Obituary

James Dale "Jim" Wilbur, 77, of Dresden, Ohio died Sunday evening July 13, 2014 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born July 21, 1936 in Hamden, Ohio he was a son of the late Arnold and Minnie (Leitch) Wilbur.
Jim was a master bricklayer and a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening and many people benefitted from his love of calling Western Square Dances and Contra Prompting.
Surviving is his devoted wife of 35 years, Laura F. (Eschman) Wilbur, whom he married July 4, 1979; his sons, Jeffery (Kim) Wilbur of Nashport and Jerry Wilbur of Dresden; a granddaughter, Amanda; a grandson Marcus Wilbur; step daughters, Tami Longaberger and Rachel Stukey; three sisters, Marjorie Waugh, Elizabeth Wolfe and Virginia Ann Mosic; two brothers, Vance Wilbur and Robert Wilbur and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Guy and Kenneth Wilbur and a very dear friend and fellow bricklayer, Jerry (Glenna) Pfeifer.
Private arrangements will be made by the family at a later date.
