FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for James L. Gause, 55, of Nashport, Ohio will be at 1:00pm Friday, July 29, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Irville Cemetery. Mr. Gause died Sunday afternoon, July 24, 2005 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born May 10, 1950 in Zanesville, he was the son of the late James H. and Mildred E. (Birt) Gause and was a 1969 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Mr. Gause was an Army veteran having served during the Viet Nam Era and he was a Tool Dresser for several local oil drilling companies. Surviving is one daughter, Wendy Sue Nason of Nashport; two sons, James Ike Gause of Nashport and Michael James Gause of Newark, Ohio; one brother, Keith (Liz) Gause of Nashport; three sisters, Judy (Doug) Elekes, Wanda ?Jeannie? Stull and Kathy (Don) Hunter, all of Nashport; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Marilyn Knight Brown, who died July 8, 2005. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Thursday, July 28, 2005 and two hours prior to the service at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg.
