Jackie R. "Jack" Farmer, 69, of Toboso, Ohio died Thursday, May 5, 2022 at his home.

Born January 16, 1953 in Newark, Ohio, he was a son of the late Thurman and Mary (Summers) Farmer.  Mr. Farmer worked for many years in oil production and later was an employee of the Bowerston Shale Company of Hanover, where he retired.  He was a former member of the Eagles and he enjoyed repairing small engines, mowers and tractors.  He also loved to hunt mushrooms.

Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Michael and Debbie Farmer of Newark and three grandchildren, Steven Farmer, Sarah (Lucas) Sapp and Savannah Farmer.  Also surviving is one brother, Dan (Ruth Ann) Farmer of Nashport and several nieces and nephews.  Jack also had many close friends who often stopped by to visit and he loved every minute of their company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Farmer and Tom Farmer.

There will be no public calling hours or funeral services.

A celebration of Jack's life will be held at a later date.
