A funeral service for Jack J. Milligan, 85 of Newark will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 8, 2008 at in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Walter Bruah officiating. Mr. Milligan died Thursday July 3, 2008 at the Arlington Nursing Home. He was born December 24, 1922 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Nathaniel and Bertha Ellen (Clark) Milligan. He retired in 1984 after 30 years at the Newark Air Force Base as a Graphic Illustrator. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII. He is survived by two sons, Mark (Wendy) Milligan of Monterey, CA. and Bill (Debbie) Milligan of Crescent City, CA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister. Calling hours will be observed from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday July 7, 2008 at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark. The family request memorial contributions to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
