Obituary

FRAZEYSBURG ? Jack J. Hindel, 80, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 1:35am Monday, April 11, 2005 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born December 29, 1924 in Madison Township of Muskingum County, he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Mary E. (Luckett) Hindel and was an army veteran having served in Germany during World War II. Mr. Hindel retired from Nickles Bakery and he was a member of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Wakatomika Post #6193, VFW of Frazeysburg and the Wakatomika Veterans Club. Surviving is three brothers, Larry Hindel and Donald (Carol) Hindel both of Frazeysburg and James (June) Hindel of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one sister, Mary Smith of Frazeysburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. (Sheppard) Hindel, a son, Mark Hindel; four brothers, William, John, Dorsey and Lee Hindel; and two sisters, Anna Slaughter and Loretta Groves. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, April 15, 2005 at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Wakatomika Post #6193, VFW or to the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church.
