Jack L. Black, Jr., 44, of Dresden, Ohio died Friday afternoon, October 28, 2016 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born June 7, 1972 in Zanesville he is a son of Jack L. Black, Sr. of Dresden and the late Judith (Vickers) Black. He was a 1990 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and he was a team leader at Fanatics in Frazeysburg. Jack was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also did wood crafting and he collected toy tractors. His greatest enjoyment and his passion was his children.
In addition to his father he is survived by his wife Brandy (Crowthers) Black whom he married September 5, 1997, a daughter, Sheridan Black and his twins, a daughter and a son, Laney and Landen Black. Also surviving are two brothers, Ned Black of Carrollton, Ohio and John Black of Coshocton, Ohio; a sister Kim Baker of Dresden; his mother in-law, Edie (Ben) Crowthers, of Dresden; his father in-law, Jeff (Star) Crothers of Dresden; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and his dogs, "Scrappy" and "Coco".
Calling hours will be from 11am to 1pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
