FRAZEYSBURG ? J. Russell Trego, 95, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Wednesday evening, May 4, 2005 at Willow Haven Nursing Home in Zanesville, Ohio. Born March 22, 1910 in Cooperdale, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles H. and M. Bernice (Lecky) Trego and was a 1928 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mr. Trego was a retired custodian with 21 years of service at Frazeysburg Schools. He was a member of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife, Pearl L. (Untied) Trego, whom he married June 2, 1946; two sons, Steven (Cheryl) Trego of Frazeysburg and Tom (Fran) Trego of Hamilton, Ohio; five grandchildren, Aimee (Matt) Dosch of Frazeysburg, Chad (Colleen) Trego of Amelia, Ohio, Jennifer Trego of Powell, Ohio, Elena Graham of Lima, Ohio and Ana Dickerson of Hamilton; ten great grandchildren; special family members, Nancy and Jack Darner of Adams Mills, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, May 9, 2005 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church, the Frazeysburg Community Bible Church or the Frazeysburg Volunteer Fire Department.
