FRAZEYSBURG ? Irene Tumblin, 88, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 9:45am Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice. Born March 12, 1917 in Wakatomika, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Cleo and Lena (Melick) Thomas and was a graduate of Warsaw High School. Mrs. Tumblin was a retired employee of the Ohio Plastics Company of Frazeysburg and was a member of the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church. Surviving is two sons, Gary L. (Alice) Crago of Crooksville, Ohio and Barry Tumblin of Beach Park, Illinois; one brother. Jack (Theresa) Thomas of Inverness, Florida; two grandchildren, Crystal (Jeff) Atkinson and Malana Krebs, both of Placerville, California; several great grandchildren, including Kenny Howard and Jake Freitag; several great great grandchildren, including Grace Isabella Howard; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman R. Tumblin, whom she married April 25, 1948 and who died July 18, 1993; and a sister Lillian Darr. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the funeral home with Dr. James A. Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association or to the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church.
