Huey Edward Husk, 80, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday afternoon, April 24, 2018 at Genesis Hospital emergency room in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born February 11, 1938 in Ravenswood, West Virginia he was a son of the late Samuel and Dovie (Fleming) Husk. Mr. Husk was a retired truck driver, having worked for many years with Arrow Concrete of Columbus, Ohio. Recently he was employed by his son at Husk Brothers Concrete of Warsaw, Ohio. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 413 of Columbus. He loved working around the farm and, most especially, doing things with his family.
Surviving is one son, Steven Roy (Diana) Husk of Warsaw; one daughter, Ronda Jean (Rick) Smith of Frazeysburg; nine grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Harold Husk of Pataskala, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma Jean (Sparks) Husk, whom he married September 8, 1956 and who died April 11, 2001; a son Jeffery Richard Husk, who died April 4, 2014; two brothers, Glen Husk and Lewis Husk and a sister, Margaret Tuller.
Calling hours will be 6pm to 8pm Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Offenberger officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
