A funeral service for Hobart M. ?Sonny? Fink, 62 of Newark will be held on Saturday at 1:00 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Robert L. Knox officiating. Mr. Fink died Tuesday evening at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. He was born August 25, 1942 in Parsons, WV to the Late Hobart and Mary (Dewalt) Fink. Sonny was retired from Owens Corning and worked part-time at Park National Bank. An avid race car fan, one of Sonny?s favorite past times was watching NASCAR. Sonny also enjoyed spending time with his eight grandchildren. He was an all around Mr. Fix-it who was willing to help out anyone at anytime. Always loving and generous, he will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and pets. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his life and soul mate, Sharon K. Burgess of Newark; a daughter Robin Schultz of Newark; brothers, Bobby Fink, Ford Fink, and Davie Fink; and a sister, Sally Kincaid. Beloved by his surrogate family, Jeff (Merricki) Priest, Jay(Angela) Priest, Jamie (Ann-Marie) Priest, Jody Priest and fianc? Amy Carpenter; grandchildren, Justin Priest, Forrest Priest, Morgan Priest, Tasha Priest, Jeffrey Priest, Madyson Priest, Trevor and Tyler Williams.
