Helen A. Gray, 92, formerly of Akron and a resident of Beckett House At New Concord, died at 2:20AM Wednesday March 2, 2005 at Genesis Good Samaritan. Mrs. Gray was born October 31, 1912 in Medina, a daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Schamp) Chittock. She had worked many years at B.F. Goodrich Tire Co. in Akron. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including, Coleen Taylor of Zanesville, Leonard Jordan of New Concord, Irene Foster of Walhonding, Bernard Jordan of California and a sister Ethel Kale of Maryland. Sisters, Edna Shroyer, Jenny Rasicci, Marion Chittock, a nephew, Richard Jordan a niece, Norma Patton, preceded her in death. Friends may call from 12:30PM until 2:30PM Friday March 4, 2005 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
