Helen J. Garver, 93, of Dresden, Ohio died Saturday morning, October 31, 2015 at her home.
Born August 23, 1922 in Dresden she was a daughter of the late Carl W. and Gayle V. (Ford) Lutz and was a 1940 graduate of Dresden Jefferson High School. Mrs. Garver was a homemaker and a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband of nearly 66 years, Earl R. Garver whom she married December 3, 1949; a daughter and son in-law, Katrina and Randy Cunningham of Dresden; three grandchildren, Chad Cunningham of South Zanesville, Amy (Nick) Beach of Dresden and Travis (Christie) Cunningham of Dresden and four great grandchildren, Abby, Camryn, Katelyn and Carter Cunningham.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Virginia Lutz, Ruby Swope, Joan Pollock and Patty Lutz.
Calling hours will be 6pm to 8pm Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Barker and Rev. Greg Inboden officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton, Ohio.
