Obituary
NEWARK: A funeral service for Helen I. Cramer, 73 of Newark will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Johnstown.
Mrs. Cramer died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Autumn Healthcare of Newark. She was born March 11, 1937 in Williamsfield, IL to the late Ralph L. and Hazel M. (Conner) Scott. A 1955 graduate of Granville High School, Mrs. Cramer had worked at Rockwell International and retired from State Farm and Cramer Building Services. She had been active in the do-little craft club in Granville and enjoyed euchre, bowling and golf. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Survivors include her children, Steve (Carol) Davis of Newark and Patricia (Ron) Wilson of Howard; step-children, Dan (Genette) Cramer of Toledo and Kathy Sigars of Orange Park, FL; brothers, Gerald Scott of Canton, Lowell Scott of Heath, and Richard â??Butchâ? Scott of Louisiana; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and special friends and neighbors Earl (Carol) Balser of Newark.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Cramer was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Cramer, August 12, 2003; a son in-law; and a great granddaughter.
Friends and family may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at VENSIL-ORR & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
