Hazel E. Welsh, 94, of Dresden at 5:25AM Saturday February 17, 2007 at the Muskingum County Home where she had been a resident since October 2006. Mrs. Welsh was born July 15, 1912 in Adamsville, a daughter of the late Hugh E. and Emma H. (Bowden) Muse. She was a 1931 graduate of Jefferson High School and had worked as an assembler at Essex Wire in Zanesville for 25 years and seven months. She was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, Nancy Evans, Wayne Muse, Fred Muse, Junior Muse, Shirley Phillips and special friends, Bill Knupp and family and Bud and June Lacy and family. Preceding her in death was her husband, Earnest W. ?Bud? Welsh on September 24, 1979 and whom she married October 22, 1932; two brothers, Homer Muse and Raymond Muse and one sister, Mildred Culbertson. Friends may call 6-8PM Monday February 19, 2007 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11AM Tuesday with Pastor Ricci Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
