Hazel S. Walter, 92, of San Benito, Texas, formerly of Dresden, died Tuesday November 26, 2002 in San Bento. Mrs. Walter was born January 28, 1910 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late William David and Florence M. Clark. She was a member of the Dresden U. Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy (Glenn) Swope of San Benito, Texas, grandchildren, Marsha Hacker of Amanda, Ohio, Melody Dial of London, Ohio, Malcolm Swope of Roseville, five great-grandsons, and one great-great granddaughter. Her husband, Malcolm E. Walter, whom she married May 10, 1928, died in 1975; an infant son, Richard Clark Walter died in 1934 and four brothers and five sisters also preceded her in death. Family graveside services will be held Saturday December 7, 2002 in the Dresden Cemetery with Rev. Deborah Koons officiating.
