FRAZEYSBURG ? Hazel L. Lauvray, 77, formerly of Dresden, Ohio, died Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 2009 at Coshocton Memorial Hospital. Born February 23, 1932 in Rockport, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Morgan and Leanna (Henthorne) Reed and was a homemaker. Mrs. Lauvray was Christian by faith. Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Wayne and Vickey Lauvray of Adams Mills; a daughter in-law, Lucia Lauvray of Dresden; six grandchildren, Christopher (Stefanie) Lauvray of Westerville, Kristina (Donnie) Cutshall of Coshocton, Matthew (Jennifer) Lauvray of Thornville, Eric (Natasha) Lauvray, Brian Lauvray, both of Newark and Todd (Rachel) Lauvray of Dresden; eight great grandchildren, Rachel, Devan, Caleb, Wyatt, Addylynn, Brianna, Jakob and Abbigail; two sisters, Betty (Roy) Cozzens of Newark and Dorothy Bennett of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester E. Lauvray, whom she married November 24, 1951 and who died March 31, 2007; a son Steven E. Lauvray, who died November 14, 2004; and two brothers, Cecil and Raymond Reed. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, May 29, 2009 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
